The Mourning Dove is officially Wisconsin's "bird of peace." A small minority of people want to be able to shoot it (a bird that sits on our feeders until we are within a few feet of it). So far the attempt has been held back. Can you say "restraining order?" This design celebrates these beautiful peaceful birds.
